Supramolecular catalysis is an important discipline combining catalysis and supramolecular chemistry that has grown exponentially. To succeed in this area, a deep knowledge of supramolecular interactions and coordination chemistry is needed in order to enhance reaction rates and selectivity. Moreover, the experience on the use of molecular cages or elaborated host-guest chemistry is crucial to succeed in supramolecular catalysis.
